The first heartphone release was a collaboration of myself and Michael Lenzi (aka Resplendent). I’m so so proud of that little EP. But before Resplendent, Michael spent most of his time in one of my favorite bands ever, Number One Cup (1994-1998). Beyond that Number One Cup released a 2-song 7″ under the name Eleventh Hour on Wurlitzer Jukebox that pretty much blew my mind back in 1997. Well, Eleventh Hour also recorded an 8-song LP entitled Radio Heaven that unfortunately never saw the light of day.
About a year ago Michael sent me a copy of this album and a year later I’m still spinning it. After a short conversation via email Michael and I decided it would be a good idea to release it right here on heartphone.
